Selling Scentsy in Italy, Spain, France, Austria and Luxembourg

 

When will Region 2 Consultants be able to sell in Italy, Spain, France, Austria and Luxembourg?

We will be open for sales 1 October, 2012 by 12:00 p.m. noon local time. Once the system is back up you will be able to enrol in each country in which you plan to sell Scentsy Fragrance products in.

What must Consultants do to be eligible to sell Scentsy Fragrance products in the five new countries?

To be eligible to sell in these new markets, Consultants must agree to the International Agreement and enrol in each country in which you plan to sell Scentsy Fragrance products. Beginning 1 October, you may enrol by going to your Workstation and the Accounts tab. Click Enrol Region 2 Subscription section under My International Services. If you have already enrolled, click Edit Region 2 Subscription and agree to the seller’s agreement for each applicable country.

May I sign up for just one or two countries or must I agree to sell in all five countries?

You may sign up for any or all of the countries in which you choose to sell Scentsy Fragrance products. You are not required to sign up for all five countries.

What does selling in these five countries cost?

Italy, France, Spain, Austria and Luxembourg are part of Region 2; they are considered to be ‘In-Region.’ The cost of the In-Region International Service Fee is £5 in the UK, and €6 for Ireland and Germany. This fee covers all countries for which you sign an agreement.

For example: If you have already enrolled to sell in Ireland and/or Germany, you may sign the seller’s agreement for any or all of the five new countries without an additional fee. If this is your initial enrolment, your new subscription will be £5 UK/ €6 Ireland and Germany (VAT included) monthly and will cover all countries for which you enrol in Region 2.

Are the Canary Islands included in Spain’s selling area? Does the Italy selling area include Venice?

Selling areas include all cities and islands officially recognized as part of the country. However, if you have a question regarding a city, island or territory, please email the postcode to Dan Orchard (dorchard@scentsy.com) for confirmation.

Are all Scentsy Fragrance products available for sale in all five countries?

At this time, all Scentsy Fragrance products may be sold in all five countries except Austria. According to Austrian law, Scentsy Personal Care may not be sold in Austria. On your PWS and Workstation, if the order will be shipped to Austria, there will be neither the visibility nor the option to purchase Scentsy Personal Care products.

What key Policies and Procedures should we be aware of as we begin selling in the new countries?

  • You are not allowed to do fairs and shows in these countries. It is a standing policy that Consultants may only do fairs and shows (including trade shows) in their home country.
  • No recruiting or pre-recruiting is allowed in ‘sales only’ countries. Recruiting at this time could be detrimental to the possibility of opening the country for recruiting in the future.
  • No Scentsy Personal Care products can be sold in Austria.
  • Familiarise yourself with the country specific sales agreement for the countries you plan on selling to.

Is there a timeframe for when Scentsy will open these countries for recruiting?

We do not have a pre-determined date for opening these countries for recruiting. This programme will provide Scentsy insight and assess the interest level within these countries and will influence when Scentsy will open the recruiting option. We are aware Region 2 Consultants have contacts in the five countries we are opening. We will keep close watch on the sales and several other factors to help us determine if and when to fully open each country.

What materials will be available upon launch?

To help with your sales, a PDF of the Product List (the one-sheet, pictorial product listing) will be available in the Resources tab of your Workstation.

The PWS interface will be available to your customers in English, Spanish and/or German depending on which country your customer resides in.

What will Scentsy Fragrance products cost in Italy, Spain, France, Austria and Luxembourg?

Beginning 1 October, your Workstation, PWS, and the Product List will display the correct prices for sales-only countries. Prices will be calculated in Euros and uniform in all five countries. To view prices, go to the Country/Language drop-down box in the upper right hand corner of your PWS and Workstation and the select the country of your choice.

Will my PWS support these five countries?

Your PWS will have the capability to support all five countries. When you accept the seller’s agreement for a country, support for that country will be activated on your PWS.

How do I place an order in my Workstation for one of these countries?

You will be able to select the country for which you are placing the order in the Select Country/Language drop-down box (upper right hand corner of the Workstation). Only those countries for which you have accepted the seller’s agreement will be visible in the drop-down box.

How does a customer place an order on my PWS for one of these countries?

A customer placing an order on your PWS may pick their Country/Language from the drop-down box in the upper right hand corner of your PWS.

May I have a party with shipments to multiple countries?

No. All orders for a party must be shipped within the same country.

What will shipping costs be in these countries?

Shipping costs will be the same as in UK, Ireland and Germany. Shipping for non-qualified parties is €10. There is no shipping charge for qualifying parties. Note: a qualifying party is any party totaling €175 or more.

Will we offer Host Rewards in these countries?

Yes, Host Rewards for qualifying parties will be available in all five countries.
