Since Scentsy wax is only warmed, it never “disappears”. So if you want to change scents you will need to remove the old Scentsy wax prior to adding new wax. You can add new wax to old wax, but I do not recommend – it will dilute the new wax. To change out your Scentsy scents, first remove the old wax.
There are lots of ways to remove wax. Many of my customers “pop-out” the old wax while it is cooled. My Scentsy Warmers are always on in my home (unless I am traveling or gone for an extended period of time). So I change out warm wax.
Here are some suggested ways to change out your Scentsy Wax.

If you have your warmer on and the wax is melted (warm wax), a super simple way to remove warm scentsy wax is to use cotton balls to soak up the wax. It is a good idea to add two cotton balls for every one cube of wax you used. So for larger warmers I use 2-3 cubes of wax, I would use 3-6 cotton balls. You want to make sure all the wax is absorbed so that it is mess free.
If you have “cold wax” where you are starting when your Scentsy warmer is off. This is a great and clean way to change wax.
Make sure you have a couple of minutes to let the wax warm, if you wait too long you will need to try one of the warm wax removals methods.
