Olfaction, or olfactics, is the scentsy of smell. Olfactory fatigue is the temporary inability to perceive a particular scent or order.
According to Medical Terms Website:
“Olfactory disorder: A loss in the ability to smell or a change in the way odors are perceived. Reduction of the sense of smell is termed hyposmia. Total inability to detect odors is termed anosmia.”
Anosmia
Anosmia is the permeant loss of the scents of smell, different from Olfactory fatigue when is temporary.
